South Essex Wildlife Hospital is a charity which is very needed. Set up by Sue Schwar In 1995, the hospital sees many hundreds of wild animals a year. With the ever increasing urban sprawl in Essex, the demands on the volunteers are tremendous. Sue along with her volunteers, devotes all their spare time in helping our local wildlife.
The volunteers are no amateurs and have a vast experience with animals. The local vets also provided much needed specialist help when required.
Animals like the Hedgehog could be extinct in the next decade or so, if we do not take more care of their habitat. Its this need to look after our wildlife that Sue and her colleagues do such a magnificent job.
